Wheelchairs and Mobility

Our venue is access friendly venue with access at both our main entrances wheelchair and scooter friendly.  Here is an overview of our spaces within the venue and their mobility access.

Alpine MDF Theatre

The Theatre has ramp access which leads to directly to our dedicated mobility row in the theatre. Wheelchair seating is sold direct through the Box Office not online. If you have any mobility seating requirements, we urge you to contact them as early as possible to avoid disappointment, as there are only limited seats available. This row is released for General Sale one week out from a performance if not sold prior.  Please note the maximum wheelchair or scooter size we can accommodate in the Theatre is 800w x 1300l. 

Memorial Hall
The Memorial Hall has ramp access for anyone attending this space.

Conference Room & Intermezzo Cafe
Both the Conference Room and Intermezzo are off the lower foyer, so no stairs to negotiate.

Rest Rooms
Our restrooms are located in the lower foyer near the stairs to Memorial Hall. We have a dedicated restroom for all access requirements which also includes a baby change station.

Companion Cards

We support the Carer Card program and are Companion Card affiliated. Please speak with our friendly Box Office staff about your requirements.

Hearing

The Alpine MDF Theatre has a hearing loop for your hearing enjoyment. For optimal hearing, please purchase your seats in Row D and back and two seats in from the end of each row. Once at the venue simply turn your hearing aid onto the T mode.
Balcony
It is important to note that our Balcony access is stairs only, it does not have a lift therefore if you have any mobility concerns or suffer from vertigo we recommend you buy your tickets in the stalls.
