Join the Victoria Welsh Choir for its celebration of the rich musical tradition of Wales. Now into its 47th year of music making, VicWelsh is a traditional Welsh male voice choir, singing in four-part harmony and presenting about fifteen concerts a year mainly in Victoria, under the musical direction of Rushan Hewawasam and accompanied by Janice Hayoon Noh and Mary O'Driscoll. The choir is Melbourne-based but has thriving Bendigo and Ballarat chapters.

Performing hymns, ballads, show tunes, arias and Celtic favourites that raise the roof in chapels and concert halls from Bangor to Bairnsdale, the choir is well known for its professionalism, humour and entertaining engagement with audiences young and old alike. As one of our hirers said, “They really put on a show.”
