Everyone deserves to feel safe, respected, and supported. Harmful behaviours do not have to be ignored - with the right tools, we can all make a difference.

STAND (Speak. Take Action. Notice. Disrupt.) is a FREE, interactive 2-hour community event designed to give you the confidence and practical strategies to respond to harmful behaviours in safe, respectful, and effective ways.

In this engaging session, we will understand why noticing and responding matters, recognise early signs of harmful behaviour, practice safe and respectful ways to “call out” or “call in” behaviour and build strategies to support others and strengthen community safety

This is not a lecture - it’s hands-on, reflective, and collaborative. You will leave with realistic strategies to use in everyday situations to help create a safer, more connected community.

This event is proudly hosted by the Centre Against Violence in partnership with the Rural City of Wangaratta, and funded through the Free from Family Violence program by the Victorian State Government.
