Our Children and Families program for 2026 is filled with colour, creativity and storytelling that speaks to audiences of all ages — from first‑time theatre‑goers to families who return year after year.
We begin with two much‑loved picture books brought beautifully to life on stage. SPOT invites our youngest audiences to join the playful, curious puppy on a gentle adventure full of humour, warmth and audience engagement.
Paired with this is Where Is the Green Sheep?, a delightful theatrical adaptation that captures the charm and rhythm of the beloved book, using music, movement and clever visual storytelling to spark imagination and joy for preschool and early‑years audiences.
For families with older children, YOU & ME and the Land of the Lost Things offers a magical and heartfelt journey into a world where forgotten objects come alive. This imaginative production explores themes of friendship, curiosity and belonging, encouraging young audiences to see the beauty in what’s been left behind while celebrating creativity and emotional connection through storytelling and design.
Rounding out the program is the high‑energy Trash Test Dummies Circus, packed with laugh‑out‑loud physical comedy, impressive circus skills and a playful environmental message, this show transforms everyday discarded objects into tools of acrobatic brilliance. It’s fast, funny and hugely entertaining — a performance that keeps kids engaged while adults enjoy the clever humour layered throughout.
Together, these productions offer families the chance to share stories, laugh together and experience the wonder of live performance, creating memorable moments that stay with children long after the curtain comes down.
