School Holiday Dance Workshops with The Australian Ballet

Come and join The Australian Ballet Education team at WPACC for a week-long holiday workshop.

Explore the world of ballet and co-create your own dance work to perform at the end of the week. The workshop includes contemporary warm-ups, dance exercises and choreographic games. Elements such as costume design, music and storytelling through dance will be discussed.

Individual needs/skill levels are addressed as you work on choreographic movement.

To secure your child's spot, you will need to -

1. Purchase your child's ticket via BUY TICKETS

2. To complete your child's registration, please complete the Registration Form(PDF, 115KB) and return to the Box Office

MON - THURS
Junior Group 10.30am - 12.30pm
 (suitable for Primary Grades 3-6)
Senior Group 1pm - 3.30pm
(suitable for Secondary Students Year 7 & up)

 

FRIDAY
Both Groups 10.30am - 1.45pm
 All students come together to perform for their parents & families in the Theatre.
(Students rehearse in the morning, have BYO lunch, then at 1pm perform their works, followed by Australian Ballet’s performance of Wilaygu Ngayinybula/Possum’s two minds).
